Water Resource Engineering

Kenyan water resources engineers conducting hydrological and hydraulic design review for dams, irrigation and water supply projects

Cadreatech engineering firm,  will engage qualified external professionals to provide specialized expertise in Water Resources Engineering design. The external team will support hydrological and hydraulic analysis, water supply and irrigation system design, dams and hydraulic structures, and environmental compliance. They will review and validate designs, contribute to technical drawings, specifications, BoQs, and cost estimates, and ensure compliance with EBK, KEBS, WRA, NEMA, and relevant international standards. All outputs will be coordinated through Cadreatech engineering firm, with regular reporting, joint design reviews, and documentation of any variations or recommendations, ensuring technically robust, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant design solutions.

Scope Area Design Services Construction Supervision Services
Data & Studies Hydrological, meteorological, topographic, soil/geotechnical data analysis; flood and drought risk assessment Verification of site conditions; monitoring contractor’s site investigations
Hydrological & Hydraulic Analysis Rainfall–runoff modeling, flood estimation, river hydraulics, open channel and pipeline design Monitoring implementation of hydraulic works; checking compliance with design parameters
Water Supply Systems Source development (surface & groundwater), intake structures, pumping stations, transmission, reservoirs Supervision of construction, testing, and commissioning of water supply works
